She received a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a recipient of the Dean's Scholarship, a participant of the Community Health Honors program, and a teaching assistant for the pre-clinical laboratory course which was selected based on manual competency.
